Review: The Winter Maiden: The Twisted Society

The Winter Maiden: The Twisted Society The Winter Maiden: The Twisted Society by Cristina Lollabrigida
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where do I begin? Scream at the fair had me from page one. Now Winter Maiden is amazing. I would haven’t been able to guess what the Lords are, nor what has taken place. This surprised me every page and I couldn’t put it down for any reasons. The end is a cliffhanger but I guarantee I will be reading book 3 as soon as I can. Cristina you did such an amazing job.

Review: Wolf Bane

Wolf Bane Wolf Bane by M.P. Starkweather
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you like PNR, RUN and grab yourself a copy. Now!!!!

I loved every part of the story. I cannot wait to read book two because this cliffhanger is getting to me. I loved every character. I loved how the men are willing to work together despise their differences with each other. I also loved how M.P. Starkweather incorporated human fated bonds into this. It was a really look belly to have a little bit of everything included.

Spice is a 2/5 for me but it did not affect the story at all. I think it all went together perfectly.

Review: A Game of Chess

A Game of Chess A Game of Chess by Lisa Dittmen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At first, I thought this would be like Criminal Minds with Hank being an FBI agent. Oh my was I so wrong. There are more twists and turns and suspense than you could get on fictional crime shows. I couldn't stop reading it.

Review: The Raven's Call: PNR RH/Why Choose Novel

The Raven's Call: PNR RH/Why Choose Novel The Raven's Call: PNR RH/Why Choose Novel by Ravin DeMarco
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Total cliffhanger but I can tell book 2 will be worth it. As for The Raven’s Call, I loved it. Five stars to character development. Five star to plot. I love the bickering and jokes. I giggled multiple times while reading. I even laughed a few times.

I can foresee the future of Nyx’s relationship are going to be deep and oh so hot. This whole boom will have you begging for more.

Review: Dark Obsession

Dark Obsession Dark Obsession by Cora Kent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read prequel to book 1, book 1, prequel to book 2, and now this. Let me tell you this is just amazing.

Dark Obsession is an interlocking story with Cruel Intentions but follows Chrissy, whom you have meant as Kaye's BFF. I loved this story. It wasn't as much bulling as Cruel Intentions at least in my opinion but that didn't not bother me. I feel like the story was well put together. The plot and all the twists were amazingly put together. I couldn't put the book down at all. I was so hooked I read straight through. This book ties in so many emotions, family traditions, breaking away from families, and the things you would be willing to do for the ones you love. It is the perfect combination. It is an HEA even though I wasn't sure that it would end in one for different parts of the story.

I loved how we got introduced to multiple other characters which could only be a teaser for what book 3 who book 3 will be about. I love that it ties together. I do feel like you can read it as a standalone without issues. I also feel like it could be read in any order.

Cora you have written another masterpiece. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for the following books. I will forever be hooked on this series.

Review: A New Family for Christmas

A New Family for Christmas A New Family for Christmas by Tirza Schaefer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read almost everyone of Tirza's books. I cannot say a single one disappoints me at all. I love this story. Even though, I do not know how realistic this would be. It is still possible. I love the factor that veterans were thought of and helped within this book. It is something we all need to do more of in our everyday life. I just love how in tune Duke and Anastasia are. You cannot forget about Princess Cara because she is cute, adorable, and oh so smart. She deserved the world, which she got.

Review: The Monsters' Christmas Party

The Monsters' Christmas Party The Monsters' Christmas Party by Miranda May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the creativity that was put into this book. Especially with the supernatural parts. I think this was the sweetest Christmas book I have read by far. I love the whole dynamic of the book. Miranda and Kaytie did an amazing job teamed together. I cannot wait to see what they do together in the future.

Review: A Jolly Christmas Disaster: A Tale of Christmas Chaos

A Jolly Christmas Disaster: A Tale of Christmas Chaos A Jolly Christmas Disaster: A Tale of Christmas Chaos by Kaytie Marie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Belle has had such a rough past that I felt for her. Man I loved the reverse harem in this one. I wish we had more of her witchy side in the beginning of the book. I love when the MC are witches or warlocks. Miranda and Kaytie did an amazing job writing this book together.

Review: Java Hearts & Cupid Darts

Java Hearts & Cupid Darts Java Hearts & Cupid Darts by Kimberly Krey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am in love with this coffee series. I haven't read one yet that I am not in love with. Kimberely Krey does an amazing job at her books. I have read two of hers so far. This story was actually in depth more that I had originally thought. I love that I got to laugh because I tend to read more dark books and this series and this book was  good break from them. This is also a clean read. I can recommened it to everyone without an age limit.

Review: Bean Wishing for a Latte Love

Bean Wishing for a Latte Love Bean Wishing for a Latte Love by Tia Marlee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wanted to read this because I love the names Lacey and Knox. I know that probably sounds like the weirdest reason to pick a book and read it. This is just a tad bit longer that what I call a novella but the story goes just as quick as a novella does. I love the coffee series. I love how each story is so cute, sweet, and situated around coffee. My favorite drink in the world.

This is a clean read. I can say I do recommened this to everyone not just 18 plus. Please be aware there is a little talk about death but I feel like it was well written to not trigger trauma for others. (That is coming from dealing with death personally within my family and friends.)

Review: Chloe's Christmas of Cursed Chaos

Chloe's Christmas of Cursed Chaos Chloe's Christmas of Cursed Chaos by Miranda May
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

First and foremost, I love the that this was a reverse harem. It is my favorite trope. It might just make me biased in my review but I haven't read a bad one yet.

Chloe is a witch which I love. It is so sad that Chloe has been alone since she started dating. She just can't seem to find her fated mate no matter what happens. Is it a curse? How can it be broken? This book had me in tears.

This is one of the biggest RH i have read. I was not disappointed at all. It also made me so happy. The benefit of HEA.

Review: Defying the Odds

Defying the Odds Defying the Odds by S. Lucas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I personally was upset with the bet the Beast makes. I feel like it is one of those truths that will kill everything no matter how good it is before hand. Am I wrong? You will have to go read it for yourself.

All I can say is it was worth reading all the way through. This book is made me want to go back and read book one since I completely missed out on what is a great series.

Review: Lavender Moon

Lavender Moon Lavender Moon by Natalie Parker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the characters. I did struggle in the beginning where it went back to the very beginning of their friendship and then jumped POV and did the same. This didn't stop me from reading the entire book. It was so worth it in every way possible. This is just one book that you will not forget. I just feel like it was drawn out. The childhood sweetheart story was emotional, heart dropping, and hot. Natalie did an amazing job at putting it together.

Review: Wolfishly Wicked: Dalia's story

Wolfishly Wicked: Dalia's story Wolfishly Wicked: Dalia's story by Jennifer Carter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This has TW please check before you read. I love the quote “Even though you can fake it till you make it ... .Not all masks are worth wearing, lovelies.” - Jennifer Carter has after her caution page (pg 8 out of 334). This book is so funny. This book is amazing. Spoiler it is an RH. It also has Bailey in it from A Tale of a Crimson Wolf & A Little Crimson Holiday. No you do not need to read them beforehand but it would help for you to understand Bailey’s backstory.  I loved the whole book but the ending got me in all my feelings. I do not know whether to be sad or mad. Warning there is a MASSIVE cliffhanger and that is the reason I am not sure if I need to be sad. All I know is this series has been amazing. This book is AWESOME and I am dying to have the next book.

Jennifer Carter you have outdone yourself again. I love your books more and more every time I read another one.

Review: Taking Her Home: A Paranormal Forced Proximity Romance

Taking Her Home: A Paranormal Forced Proximity Romance Taking Her Home: A Paranormal Forced Proximity Romance by Luna Knight
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am in love with Luna Knight’s books. This book is so twisted but steamy all together. This story had me in all my feelings. Teagan has had so much in her life happen but so has Adrian. I think this story is such a perfect fit for both of them. If I go into much more I will give away spoilers but let me tell you this much. Karma is given back to those who deserve it. Not only is Teagan amazing but so is Not Teagan. 😉  This book is 5 star all the way. The spice is a 4.
Since this is on my own private blog, I can be more descriptive. Warning SPOILER ALERT.

Teagan is insane. Like literally. Okay so its technically not Teagan it is actually Not Teagan aka her wolf. Through everything Teagan has had to suffer since she was 10 years old, her wolf, finally decides to pull apart from her to take over when things get bad. This allows Teagan to stay as innocent as possible. Since Teagan and her wolf have separated, she now has to fight to bring them back together.

Adrian has had a really messed up life starting about the same age as well. Even though his might not have been near as rough as Teagan's he still suffered a great deal from it. Which has affected the way he acts to anyone outside of his "family".

I also love how the characters from book 1 was mentioned more than just once and twice in this. I love how everything was incorporated so smoothly without disregarding all of her hard work on her characters.

Luna Knight is an awesome paranormal romance author. This doesn't begin to describe how much I love her books. I will be impatiently waiting for the next book.

Review: Conflicting Ventures

Conflicting Ventures Conflicting Ventures by A.K. Landow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jason did Skylar so dirty in the prologue. Lance and Skylar are beyond perfect for each other. Oh my is this book hot and smutty. This book is so sweet but it is hot. Like hot hot. I haven’t read a book that has such good scenes. It seems like it's back to back but it's because everyone is so open and loving. Not only was this good using speechify but it is so much better reading it. If there is an audio version ever made it will be amazing. You need to read this book and the whole series. I cannot wait to read book two. Lord, this book brings out all your emotions. I can say I had a bad time after getting ready to go out and decided to finish listening to this while waiting on my husband and it was all I could do not to cry. The ending was the best I have ever read. I cannot spoil it for anyone who is reading this but let me tell you. The constellations now have a different meaning to me. I will never forget it. A.K. Landow thank you for writing such an amazing book. I cannot wait to read the next one. Jumping to it next. I have never read better acknowledgments than there is in this book. The one for her family is the best. Even though I am not an author myself. I felt the part of your daughter tolerating you. Kids are hard but daughters are tough.

Review: A Little Crimson Holiday

A Little Crimson Holiday A Little Crimson Holiday by Jennifer Carter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved the prologue explaining the background of shifters for this book and Alphas, Betas, Omegas, and Luna.
I have never laughed so hard over a prank in my life but let me tell you Bailey wins the award for it. Crimson is the Omega. Adam has been apart of Crimson’s life forever, they grew up together. Liam is also an alpha. Bailey is an Alpha. He is the newest member of their relationship and he is also part of law enforcement. This is an HEA mostly. It does have a tinge of a sad side to it but it is also a cliffhanger. I cannot say enough good things about this book. I loved every part of it. It is smutty and oh so adorable. I love every character. Lets not forget Mrs. Crimson is a bratty omega. It has the best of the tropes all mixed into one and does not disappoint.
